In 2016, at the end of the season, we bought a small pop-up camper as a sort of "try it out" to see if camping would be something we would even enjoy doing as a family. We went once or twice before winter set in. I really enjoyed it and Kelly said she did too. We knew the kids loved it, but when they went back to school and did all of those "favorite parts of summer" and "get to know you" things, both of them said that their favorite thing to do was go camping.
That set it in stone for us...we are a camping family. We all really liked the pop-up. It was a little cramped at times, but we totally made it work. Kelly said that since we decided that we were going to be doing this camping thing a lot, she wanted a camper with a bathroom. I agree it was worth it.
We decided to sell our pop-up and get a bigger camper. Luckily for us, I work with some camping families and we were able to sell it very quickly to a couple I work with (we know she's being taken care of).
I will be posting all of our camping adventures on here in future...until then here's a blast from the past.
(The first few times we didn't do many pictures. I wasn't blogging and we were in awe of no cell service and relishing that fact)
